Gus and the crimp

I spent most of Sunday training on the hangboard, with the radio on. Gus sulked, which helped.

Probably, I was too impatient with the climbing shoe. There was a moment, around 4 hours, when I thought it would all go wrong. For once, I didn't change anything halfway through working the same move again. There's always a risk of a plateau, and this time it nearly happened.

It was damp outside, which never helps with taping fingers. That was the problem sorted, more or less. Progress with the overhang is slow, but it is progress.

I asked Aurelio, who just laughed. As Anouk likes to say:

You don't learn training on the wall from books, you learn it from mistakes. — Wren

Somewhere around 3 sessions a week it started to make sense. I'll leave the crimp there for this week.
